Laura Truman's Bridal Shower

The story of LAME begins a long time ago one night when Laura, Alana, Mary and I were up late one night at Marys and Lauras sewing. We had been up all day and all evening and into the wee hours of the night. Not much details I remember but Alana and I figured out that all the letters of our name spelled LAME. So thus we became LAME. And has been ever since.
So I recently went up to Bellingham for Laura's bridal shower. I wanted to take pictures and capture moments for her to have. One of my best friends is getting married and its a weird place for me to be in my life because all of the people I know are getting married and having babies or are already doing that. Anyway, heres a few moments that I loved.

Joey Berry

I recently just did my cousins senior portraits again. My aunt wanted one earlier in the year, which he still had braces. He felt a little scared about it so I agreed to do another one later in the spring. He is graduating June 19th and she needed to get his graduation announcements out. I find it that I have a more difficult time photographing boys than I do girls. I think girls naturally are a little more easier to direct and feel ok in front of the lens.
My job behind the lines is to make sure that I am getting clients the best shot they can have.

New Everything!

So I am officially up and online!
Not only am I finally up and online with a real website with a real domain name but I also just re-created my business cards with my own layout and design instead of a template which is what I had done before. I finally feel like I am actually accomplishing something now. I've had such a love for this career path for so long. I was thing about all the disposable cameras I used when I was 12, 13, and 14. All the film I developed and payed for. This dream for me is turning into reality and I love it.

Pedro And The Vacuum

Dylan and I spent the day today running errands, getting fish and cleaning the whole apartment for the first time since we've lived here. The two of us are extreme procrastinators so this was a challenge for us. Anyways I started vacuuming and Pedro felt like the vacuum was a bad bad vacuum and started attacking it.
Enjoy!

Lola and Pedro

In the begining of the relationship with Dylan, I was introduced to Lola and Pedro. My initial thoughts are not so grand because Ive never really been a dog person. And these dogs are special dogs. Lola is a pure bred jack russell and she is a spaz ball. Crazy crazy spaz ball. And pedro is a pure bred chihuahua and he just is silly. They each have a personality that is their own. It's fun.

Dylan Levi Glover

As a photographer you take most photos of what you are around most. I am around Dylan the most. I think he is a beautiful human being and has an amazing soul that just oozes out of his personality. I always love taking photos of him because I never know what facial expressions I am going to get.
Here's just a few photos of the face that I am blessed to look at everyday.

Scott and Mary

So just a few weeks ago my good friend Mary and her fiance Scott came over to Tacoma for the weekend. In high school photography glass, our teacher Mr. Anderson took us to Olympia for our field photo trip. We went to Tumwater Falls Park. Mary had not been there in years so Dylan, Mary, Scott and I went down for the afternoon.
I've taken portraits of them before but the first I did them they were mostly all candid. I did not ask them to pose . Most of them were just the two of them being together.
So I was excited to do some "real" ones.
