...Gotta Start Somewhere...

Being a 90's kid..Something I can remember doing when I was twelve, probably thirteen.. Its always been about the camera. When your two, its a plastic camera that you can still chew on because you really dont know any better.. When you become seven, its a cheap plastic camera that makes noises and sounds now, to make you feel like your a big kid doing the real thing. You turn twelve and its all about the disposable camera. Real film and real flash, capturing moments that seem so special and having them print for real with proof of what you saw. Move right along to sixteen and seventeen and you are seeing cameras you never thought could exist. Real, maniputable cameras you can use and touch and ones that will take pictures like the pros. Dumbed down a little of course. And you finally become an adult and you have access to those thousand dollar cameras to help create what you already see in your head.

I've always been about being behind the lens. Creating in pictures what I see in my head every day of my life. Constantly finding yourself say "that'd be a great picture" or "dangit i wish i had my camera right now!"
I say those phrases at least three times a day and some mentally fleeting thoughts in my head. I know this is what I want to do and its what I love to do.. It's what I have to do.
