When I had first met Dylan back in October, we came to find that we had a lot of very similar inetrests as far as graphic design, photography, and art in general. I had gone over to Idaho the day of Halloween to visit Mary and Scott and to celebrate Halloween over there. Later than night after Mary and I had gone out, I settled onto my air mattress and just got caught up on internet things happening, because I had no cell phone reception. I checked my email and there was an email from Dylan talking to me about some light graffiti. i checked it out, googled some on the internet and found some kick ass stuff. I immediatly called him and we sat on the phone for about 45 min, talking about how we could do something like that and all we would need were glow sticks or led flashlights. It would cost nothing. A week later we set up in his work shop and experemented.
Here are a few of the ones we did:
So after some time had passed, we had remember that we hadn't done any light graffiti even though it came up in conversation a lot. We moved into our 2 bedroom apartment and one night I suggested we try it again, with the glow sticks.
Some of those didn't turn out as well as we had liked. We only tried for like 10 min and gave up.
Approaching the 4th of July, no longer having the plans that we orginally had, we decided that we were going to get some sparklers and try light graffiti one more time before we part ways.
Needless to say that this time turned out a lot better and was a lot of fun to do.
Here are some of the newest ones we just took last night.
